When you initially create hubs, they’re saved in draft status until you publish them. Published hubs are only visible when they have been assigned to an audience who have role feature access to Hub. In addition, you have to publish each home page
To publish a hub:
- In Hub Setup > Hub Designer, in the Hubs tab, select a hub in the navigation menu.
- Note: Hubs consist of home pages or subpages.
- Click Publish and select an option:
- Publish: To put the changes into effect immediately. Dayforce publishes and saves the page at the same time. If there are multiple localized pages, Dayforce opens the Publish dialog box for you to select multiple pages to publish at once.
- Unpublish: Dayforce reverts the page to draft status and removes it from view because it is no longer published. If you have a draft page saved and then you unpublish the currently published page, the unpublished page replaces the saved draft as the draft that is available. If there are multiple localized pages, Dayforce opens the Unpublish dialog box for you to select multiple pages to unpublish at once.
- Note: If you unpublish a hub page that has an existing draft page, the page you unpublish will be permanently deleted. This also applies to localized pages.
- Discard Draft: To discard the changes. If there are multiple localized pages, Dayforce opens the Discard dialog box for you to select multiple pages to discard at once.
- Confirm your selection.
You can confirm the page status in the top right corner of the page, and in the navigation menu:
Note: If a role or group is assigned to a hub that isn’t published, when the end users open the Hub landing page Dayforce displays a message indicating that the hub page isn’t published. If end users aren’t assigned to an audience, when they open the Hub landing page, Dayforce displays the message indicating that they haven't been assigned a hub page.
