The Publish dialog box includes these additional fields for pages with What’s New content:

  • What’s New: A custom description of the widget update as entered in the What’s new field.
  • Send a notification to the audience of this page: This field is selected by default. Audience members of the page receive a notification in Message Center and any configured business email addresses. The notification also goes to Messages feature in mobile, but the Go to Hub button, which directs employees to the hub page, is inactive in the mobile app.
  • If the hub page is localized, the employee’s culture in Dayforce must match the language of the localized hub page or is the default hub. The employee’s culture also determines the language of the notification.
  • Include What’s New content: The custom content created in the What’s new field is added to the notification sent to the page audience members. If the checkbox is left cleared, a default notification is sent without any custom content, even if the content was added in the What’s new field.
