The My Team widget gives managers a high-level overview of their employees. The widget displays a manager’s direct reports, and highlights employees with pending actions, upcoming TAFW, or a work anniversary, in the yellow-highlighted portion of the widget. The My Team widget provides quick access to the employee profile card:
Note: Dayforce displays a maximum of 16 employee profiles in each section (yellow, pending requests section and the white section that has no pending requests). The widget provides a link to People to access additional profiles.
The My Team widget requires users to have direct reports and role feature access to People in Application Container in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles. If a manager has two roles, for example, an employee role and a manager role, if their employee role also has access to the People feature, they will see My Team in their employee role. Some of the widget functionality might not work under their employee role (depending on configuration), but Dayforce displays the widget itself and its contents. This scenario assumes that a single Hub exists for both employee and manager roles which contains different information for both audiences.
The following details are included in the My Team widget in Experience Hub:
- View Hierarchy: View the organization hierarchy.
- Actions: Select forms related to new employees, for example, New Hire and Rehire, in the drop-down menu. This way managers can conveniently access the forms.
- Employee avatar: Click anywhere surrounding an avatar to view a summary of an employee's profile information in their employee card.
- Message Center link: If the widget is smaller, and cannot display all of the employees with pending requests, Dayforce displays a link to Message Center to view additional pending requests.
The following details are included in the My Team configuration dialog box in Hub Designer:
- Title: The default title is My Team, but you can change it.
- Visibility: Visibility is web only.
- Sample team and data: When you preview the widget, Dayforce displays a sample team for viewing purposes only, and it doesn’t work in Hub Designer. In addition, the View Hierarchy and Actions links don’t work.
- Note: Employee data that Dayforce displays in Hub Designer is sample data., to give you an idea of what the finished widget will look like.
