Before You Begin: You cannot move a parent home page. In addition, pages can only be moved one level in the hierarchy and cannot be moved to the parent home page level. You can only move one page at a time. Lastly, pages can be moved to other hubs.
To move subpages:
- In the left navigation of the Hubs tab, select the subpage you want to move.
- Note: If the subpage has children, the children are included in the move. In addition, any existing localized pages are moved.
- Click the move icon () in the sidebar toolstrip to open the Move dialog box:
- Select one of the following options in the toolstrip:
- Move Up: Move the page up.
- Move Down: Move the page down.
- Outdent: Move the page one level down in the hierarchy.
- Indent: Move the page one level up in the hierarchy.
- Alternatively, if you want to move the subpage manually, skip to step four.
- To move the subpage manually, drag and drop the page to the destination. Dayforce displays the following icons as you move the page accordingly:
- (): Forbidden move.
- (): Place as a child page.
- (): Move to the first, middle, or last position. The icon indicates the position by the line that the triangle points to.
- Note: As you drag the subpage to an area, Dayforce highlights the row of the destination light gray.
- Click Move.
- The subpage, associated localized pages, and any child pages are moved to the new destination.
