Before You Begin: When you add files to the Media Library, make sure that no personal, sensitive or confidential information is included, because Hub content isn’t intended to house this type of information.
To add media to Experience Hub, you need to upload the files to the Media Library, either before you start configuring or while you configure your widgets. You can add images, video, and documents such as PDFs. In addition, if you have multiple media folders, you can move media between folders.
You can add free stock photos and videos to your hub if desired. Ensure that you understand their licensing before using. Here are some suggested resources:

- Undraw.co
Note: If you delete the Hub template image, Dayforce re-adds it when you use it again. Dayforce doesn’t re-add the appearance header background image if it's deleted. The Hub template image and header background image are added through two different processes—the appearance image is only added when Hub is provisioned, the Hub template image is added, if needed, when users add a new hub and select the template.
When selecting logos and header background images, keep these recommendations in mind:
- For mobile logos, use a high-resolution PNG image file, at least 192 pixels in height. A lower-resolution file will result in the logo appearing blurry on mobile devices. Due to the limited space on mobile devices, use a minimal logo design that complies with your corporate branding with a transparent background. If your logo is complex, for example, if your logo contains a shape and some words, consider using only the shape portion as the logo, if that complies with your corporate branding standards.
- For header background images, use an image that is at least 1920 x 300 pixels and preferably less than 1 MB in size. The image will scale to fit the width of the browser window so use a larger image if it appears blurry. The greeting text displays on top of the image so it’s important to choose an image that isn’t too busy. See Media.
