After you create audiences with one or more Dayforce groups or roles, you can assign a hub for each audience. This way, employees can access the Hub content that is intended for them. You assign hubs to audiences in the Hub Assignments tab:
When an audience is assigned to a hub, they are assigned to all of the available localized versions of that hub, and Dayforce displays the hub based on the user’s culture
If an employee isn’t assigned to an audience but their user role is configured to access the Hub feature, when they go to the Hub landing page, Dayforce displays a message saying that they haven't been assigned a hub page. If a role or group is assigned to a hub that isn’t published, when those end users access the Hub landing page, Dayforce displays the message that the hub page isn’t published and to try again later.
Note: It's best to ensure that you publish a hub before you assign a hub to an audience. When an audience is assigned to a published hub, it will immediately be visible to members of that audience.
About the Default Audience
One hub can optionally be identified as the default. Employees who aren't part of a configured Hub audience will see the page associated with the default hub. A hub identified as the default isn’t required to have any audiences assigned to it. The default audience includes anyone who has access to a Dayforce instance and has Experience Hub enabled for their role and isn’t necessarily part of a defined audience.
For example, in the image above, any employees who aren't assigned to the Content Admin, Managers, Professional Services, Product, or Development audiences will see the default Employee Hub.
