If a system error occurs after you publish a page, and notifications aren’t sent to employees Dayforce shows an error banner dialog box in the Hubs tab in Hub Designer where you can see details of the affected pages and optionally dismiss the errors.
Error Banner Details
- The banner is expanded by default, listing all affected pages and cultures.
- Hub names in the banner match the names shown in the Hub navigation tree, regardless of culture.
- If you republish a page that’s in error state, the error is shown in the banner multiple times to reflect your attempts at republishing.
- If you click Dismiss All in the banner, Dayforce shows a confirmation dialog box informing you that the notification content will be permanently deleted if you dismiss all unsent notifications. Also, the error banner won’t show anymore.
- You can collapse the banner.
- The banner remains visible until all errors are dismissed.
- When you click a page link in the error banner, Dayforce opens a dialog box showing the widget name, widget type, and the What’s New description (if applicable).
You can take the following actions:
- Click the widget name to go to the page in the Hub navigation tree.
- Close the dialog box when you’re finished reviewing.
- Dismiss the unsent notification. Dayforce shows a confirmation message informing you that its content will be permanently deleted, and the error banner won’t show the notification.
