The Employee Earnings widget displays employee earnings, which includes the following fields:
- Last Pay: Last pay date and amount, as of the currently available employee earning statement.
- Note: This follows the earning statement offset rules as configured in client payroll properties or check templates. For details, see the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
- Change from previous: Difference in amount from previous pay.
- Next Pay: How many days until the next pay, and the pay date.
- View Pay Details: When employees click this, Dayforce opens the Earnings feature which displays earning statements, year end forms, and compensation.
- Show: Employees click this to view the Last Pay and Change from previous fields. Click Hide to hide the fields. The fields are hidden by default.
Employees require role feature access to Earnings in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles for the widget to be displayed in their hub.
Here is an example screenshot of information displayed in the Employee Earnings widget:
The following details are included in the Employee Earnings configuration dialog box in Hub Designer:
- Title: The default title is Earnings, but you can change it.
- Visibility: Visibility is web only for the Employee Earnings widget. The Mobile apps incorporates the earnings concept into the overall app navigation, but it’s specific to the Mobile apps.
- Enable View Pay Details Link: Enable the Show button link that displays the Last Pay and Change from previous fields. End users can click Hide to hide the fields. The fields are hidden by default.
- Display difference in amount from previous pay: Display the difference from the previous pay in dollars.
- Display countdown to next scheduled pay in calendar days: Display how many days until the next pay.
- Display date of next schedule pay issue date: Display the date of the next scheduled pay.
- Note: Employee data that Dayforce displays in Hub Designer is sample data, to give you an idea of what the finished widget will look like.
When you preview the widget in Hub Designer, the View Pay Details link doesn’t work, but the Show button link does display the hidden values in the widget.
