After you create groups for hub audiences, you can define various audiences through a combination of groups and roles so that you can effectively target hub content to more granular audiences.
To define groups for hub audiences:
- Go to HR Admin > Groups.
- Click Add.
- Enter a name for the group in the Name field.
- Click Hub in the Group Type drop-down list.
- Note: If the group is for Experience Hub, the Group Type selected must be Hub or it won't appear in the Audiences tab.
- (Optional) Enter a reference code and description for the group.
- Click Save.
Note: Access to either Hub Setup > Hub Admin or Hub Setup > Hub Designer at the role level gives access to the Hub group type. So, if a role has access to Groups but not to one of the Hub Setup sub-features, they shouldn’t see Hub as a group type. In addition, if you have access to HR Admin > Groups you can edit Hub Group Type groups.
Dayforce displays each group as a drop-down list option in the Groups column in the Audiences tab. See Set Up Audiences. For more information on creating groups, see Group Setup in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
