Create a Scheduled Content Widget

Before you can assign a scheduled post to a widget you must create a Scheduled Content widget on a hub or subpage, and publish the page.

To create a Scheduled Content widget:

  1. In Hub Designer, select a home page, or subpage in the Hubs tab, in a section, click + Add Widget.
  2. In the drop-down list, click Scheduled Content. Dayforce shows the Scheduled Content dialog box.
  3. In the Visibility drop-down list, select All, Web only, or Mobile app only for your widget.
  4. If visibility is set to all or mobile, select the checkbox to prioritize the widget to show at the top of the Today section on the Home screen on the mobile app. This setting makes it easier to highlight urgent information when employees log in.
  5. Enter a widget ID that helps you easily find this widget when you create and assign posts. Create an ID that’s unique, meaningful, and easy to remember. Maximum of 40 characters.
  6. Click Save. The Hub Designer screen shows the Scheduled Content widget with a description saying that no posts are scheduled. The widget ID is in the bottom-right corner of the widget.
  7. Publish the page so you can assign posts to it in the Content Library.
  8. Click Go to Content Library which takes you to the Content Library where you create, schedule, and manage your posts.
