Before You Begin: It's best to ensure that you publish a hub before you assign a hub to an audience. When an audience is assigned to a published hub, it will immediately be visible to the members of that audience. For more information on setting up audiences, see Set Up Audiences. For more information on creating hubs, see Add or Copy a Home Page or Subpage.
To assign hubs to audiences:
- Go to Hub Setup > Hub Designer and click the Hub Assignments tab.
- Click Add to start with a blank hub assignment.
- In the Hub column, select a hub in the drop-down list.
- Note: The hub names display the default language page name. Audiences assigned to a default language hub are also assigned to any localized versions of the default language hub
unless the localized pages are assigned to different audiences at the subpage level . - In the Audiences column, select one or more audiences in the drop-down list.
- (Optional) In the Default column, add a checkmark to specify if the hub audience is default.
- Note: You don’t need to specify the default audience. Dayforce automatically associates all Dayforce roles which don't belong to a configured audience to the default audience.
- (Optional) If there are multiple rows in the grid, and you want to change the priority order of the hubs, select your desired row, and click Move Up or Move Down in the toolstrip.
- Note: The priority order determines which hub employees see if they belong to several audiences that are associated to different hubs.
- Click Save.
