Add Media to Experience Hub

The Media Library now restricts and displays storage limits dynamically. Dayforce displays how much space is used out of the 10 GB total space allowed, and breaks it down based on images, videos, and documents. If you attempt to add a file that exceeds the storage limit, the application displays an error message indicating that the file size is larger than the space available, and specifies the file size and available space. The maximum size for images is 2 MB and for video is 315 MB.

Before You Begin: You might upload your own images to the Hub. However, by uploading an image, you acknowledge that you aren’t infringing on any copyright and are either the owner of the material or have received permission to use the material. If you cease to have a lawful basis to use the material, you agree to immediately delete or remove the material from the Hub. Also, When you add files to the Media Library, make sure that no personal, sensitive or confidential information is included, because Hub content isn’t intended to house this type of information.

To add media files to Experience Hub:

  1. Go to Hub Setup > Hub Designer and click the Media tab.  
  2. Note: You can also add media files in the Select Media dialog box when adding widgets or setting up an appearance.
  3. Media library where you add media files.
  4. To create a folder initially in the Media tab, click Add Folder. If it's not the initial folder, skip to the next step.
  5. (Optional) To create a folder, click Add and select Folder or Subfolder.
  6. Select your desired folder, click Upload and locate the files that you want to add to the Media Library.
  7. Select a file and click Open.
  8. Select a file to add to a page or an appearance by selecting the checkbox on the left.
