When you’re working in the report designer in Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports, you can view and edit the report properties at any time. Click the Properties button to open the Report Properties dialog box.
In the General tab, you can view and edit the following details:
- Report Name and Description: These fields contain the name and description that you entered when you were creating the report. You can update them in this dialog box.
- Parent Category: The report category that the report is filed under. If no category is selected, you can see the report in the list on the landing page by clicking All Reports. Click the Choose a Category button and select a new category to change it.
- Topic: The report topic that the report is based on.
- Last Run: The date and time that the report was last run and the user who ran the report.
- Created By: The name of the user who created the report.
- Created Date: The date and time the report was created.
- Last Updated By: The name of the user who last updated the report
- Last Updated Date: The date and time the report was last updated.
- Report Integration Name: Enter a unique value that will be used for Dayforce Web Services or OData to reference the report. See the Dayforce OData Configuration Guide.
In the Security section of the panel, you can view and edit the following details:
- You can grant users in your organization the ability to access a report or you can remove their ability to access a report. To grant a user access to a report, select the checkbox next to the user role from the Available list. You can remove a user's access by clearing their checkbox.
