The Reporting feature contains functionality that you can use to run, edit, and create reports on an ad hoc basis. Dayforce comes with an extensive library of standard reports. You can run these standard reports as they are, or you can use them as templates to create custom reports that generate the data that you need.
Each report is based on a topic or a dataset, which is a set of related fields grouped into entities. Dayforce also comes with an extensive set of topics, which you can use to build reports using the report designer. You can also build a report from scratch starting with an empty dataset.
In Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports, you can see a list of reports that your user role has access to in the Reports tab. You can preview, run, and schedule reports, or open them in the report designer to make changes. You can also create custom reports using one of the existing report topics or by creating your own dataset. See Reports.
In the Report Schedules tab, you can view and edit your scheduled reports and configure report distribution to send them to other employees in your organization at scheduled times. See Report Schedules and Distribution.
