Delete Reports

You can delete custom reports in Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Classic Reports, and all users who have access to the report designer can delete custom reports that they created themselves.

Administrators can allow users with certain user roles to also delete reports created by others by selecting the Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Report Designer > Delete any Report checkbox in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles. If users don’t have this role feature enabled, the Delete button isn’t enabled in the report designer when they’re viewing a report created by someone else.

Before You Begin: You can’t delete standard reports. Administrators can remove access to standard reports using the associated role features in System Admin > Roles.

To delete a custom report:

  1. Go to Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Classic Reports.
  2. In the reports list, select the report that you want to delete.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Delete button in the toolstrip in Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Classic Reports.
    • Click Edit or Preview to open the report in the report designer and then click Delete.
  4. Click OK in the Delete Report dialog box.
