Aliased Entities

You can add the same entity to a report's dataset more than once as long as the multiple instances are joined using different relationships. This practice of including multiple instances of the same entity with different names can be referred to as aliasing. In the Add Field dialog box, Dayforce appends "(Alias)" to entities that are already in your report's dataset.

When you use an aliased entity, each instance of the entity must have a unique name. When you're adding an aliased entity in the Add Field dialog box, you must edit the name in the Display Name field before you can add the entity to the dataset. The Display Name field is only editable for aliased entities.
