Add Localizations for Report Names and Descriptions

When you’re working in the report designer, you can localize a report’s name and description so that Dayforce shows these items according to the user’s language and culture settings.

To add a localization for the name and description of a report:

  1. Go to Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports and open the report for which you want to localize the name and description.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Click Localize. In the Report Properties slide-out panel, Dayforce shows the name and description of the report that you’re going to localize in the Source Text section.
  4. Click Add a translation.
  5. In the Select a language drop-down list, select the language that you want to create a localization for.
  6. Enter the display name and description for the selected language.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Apply.

Note: Your changes aren’t saved until the report is saved.

You can add a localization for each language available in your Dayforce instance. The localized names and descriptions that you configure are shown when people use Dayforce in the associated languages.
