Add Localizations for Report Names and Descriptions

When you’re working in the report designer, you can localize a report’s name and description so that Dayforce shows these items according to the user’s language and culture settings.

To add a localization for the name and description of a report:

  1. Go to Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Classic Reports and open the report for which you want to localize the name and description.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Click Localize. In the dialog box that opens, Dayforce shows the name and description of the report that you’re going to localize in the Source Text section.
  4. Click Add.
  5. In the Language drop-down list, select the language that you want to create a localization for.
  6. Enter the display name and description for the selected language.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click Apply again to close the Reports Properties dialog box.

Note: Your changes aren’t saved until the report is saved.

You can add a localization for each language available in your Dayforce instance. The localized names and descriptions that you configure are shown when people use Dayforce in the associated languages.
