When you’re working in the report designer, you can localize a report’s name and description so that Dayforce shows these items according to the user’s language and culture settings.
To add a localization for the name and description of a report:
- Go to Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Classic Reports and open the report for which you want to localize the name and description.
- Click Properties.
- Click Localize. In the dialog box that opens, Dayforce shows the name and description of the report that you’re going to localize in the Source Text section.
- Click Add.
- In the Language drop-down list, select the language that you want to create a localization for.
- Enter the display name and description for the selected language.
- Click Apply.
- Click Apply again to close the Reports Properties dialog box.
Note: Your changes aren’t saved until the report is saved.
You can add a localization for each language available in your Dayforce instance. The localized names and descriptions that you configure are shown when people use Dayforce in the associated languages.
