Third Party Payees

Use the Third Party Payees wizard to upload third-party payee information for employee groups in Australia and New Zealand. This wizard removes the need for manual data entry, saving time and effort.

Third party payees, or payees, are accounts, or organizations, that receive payments on behalf of employees. Examples of payees include:

  • A pension account that employers contribute to for their employees.
  • An account that gets payments for benefits that are deducted and paid during the payroll process.

Note: The Third Party Payees wizard currently supports only employee groups in Australia and New Zealand.

Payee categories must be set up before using this wizard.

Third Party Payee template fields

All templates have the same basic structure:

  • Instructions tab: Helps you understand the purpose of the data and complete the fields in the template.
  • Data tab: Contains headers for the data to be included in the template. The headers remain the same, but you can change the column order. If you add more columns, Activate ignores them.

All number ranges in the templates include the numbers at both ends of the range.
