Project Resources
Note: This page is accessible to non-customer users only.
Use the Project Resources page to review and update the resources associated with the project to receive email notifications for Activate installations and data loads. This page enables you to control who Activate sends notifications to in addition to the people who are assigned in Dayforce Services Automation.
Note: If project resources are added in Dayforce Services Automation after you initialize Activate, those resources are pulled into Activate and will receive notifications.
About this page
The Project Resources page contains the following information:
Project owner
Shows the assigned project owner's name and email address based on the portfolio that the project is assigned to in Dayforce Services Automation. The Project Owner is notified at the completion or failure of the Activate installations and data loads. This field is read-only. The information can be updated only in Dayforce Services Automation.
Project sponsor
Shows the name and email address of the manager or sponsor who is assigned to this project. The segments at the time of the project assignments set this information. The Project Sponsor is notified at the completion or failure of the Activate installations and data loads. This field is read-only. The information can only be updated in Dayforce Services Automation.
Project resources
Shows the email addresses of all project resources assigned to and are active on the tasks associated with the project. These resources are notified at the completion or failure of the Activate installations and data loads. This field is read-only. The information can only be updated in Dayforce Services Automation.
Additional resources
Use this section to add an additional implementation team member email address to notify of Activate installations and data loads. This address is included in addition to the ones already in Dayforce Services Automation. You can delete additional resources and enable or deactivate email notifications to specific email addresses. These resources aren’t reflected in Dayforce Services Automation.
Note: System Integrators need to add their project team email addresses here to make sure that they receive Activate notifications.
Installation notification subscriptions
Use this section to view, add, and remove active customer email addresses that are to be notified of Activate installations and data loads. These resources aren’t reflected in Dayforce Services Automation.
Note: This section shows active customer email addresses added with the Add Email feature during Activate wizard installations to manage all subscriptions centrally. These notifications give simplified updates containing less technical detail than the Project Resources/Additional Resources notifications.
Tasks
To add additional resources:
- In the Profile menu (
), click Project Resources.
- In the Additional Resources section, enter the resource's email address.
- Click Add. The resource's email address shows below the Email field.
- Repeat these steps to add additional resources.
- Click Back to Central. Activate Central opens.
To delete additional resources:
- In the Profile menu (
), click Project Resources.
- In the Additional Resources section, next to the resource's name, click Delete.
The resource's email address no longer shows below the Email field. The resource will no longer receive email notifications about Activate installations and data loads.
- Click Back to Central. Activate Central opens.
To stop email notifications to specific additional resources:
You can also enable email notifications in this section.
- In the Profile menu in the top-right section of the page, click Project Resources
- In the Additional Resources section, next to the resource's name, click Disable Notifications.
The resource's email address continues to show below the Email field. But, the resource will no longer receive email notifications about Activate installations and data loads.
- Click Back to Central. Activate Central opens.
To add customer email notifications:
- In the Profile menu (
), click Project Resources.
- In the Email field in the Installation Notification Subscriptions section, enter the customer's email address.
- Click Add. The customer's email address shows below the Email field.
- Click Back to Central. Activate Central opens.
To delete customer email addresses:
- In the Profile menu (
), click Project Resources.
- In the Installation Notification Subscriptions section, next to the customer's email address, click Delete.
The customer's email address no longer shows below the Email field. The customer will no longer receive email notifications about Activate installations and data loads.
- Click Back to Central. Activate Central opens.
