Phase Setup

Note: This page is available only to non-customer users.

Use the Phase Setup page to enter key information that tells Activate what can be done for this project per the contract. Also use this page to validate the expected result after you access the Activate Implementation Center (AIC). The Phase Setup determines the AIC methodology.

Phases help with the implementation and management of major customer requests or contracts. They connect the process and provide the Best Practices documentation and resources for testing.

A first phase, often called “Main,“ implements the customer on Dayforce initially with the required functionality. Later phases might occur to expand the Dayforce functionality used by the customer or to add more employees and geographies.

Note: Phase creation in one environment (Stage, Configuration, or Train) is available in the other environments.

Activate phase

To use Activate to implement Dayforce, you must create an Activate phase. The following project parameters are required to create the phase in Activate:

  • Portfolio
  • Module
  • Country

Important: Before creating a phase, make sure that the customer contract aligns and notifies the appropriate Billing team.

Note: For questions for the Enablement team, contact Enable.Services@dayforce.com. If you have feedback about the AIC or the implementation process, submit a request through the Aha! Portal.

Some values show based on what is being pulled from the NetSuite environment.

Important: Verify that the modules shown on the page match the Statement of Work (Pricing Schedule Document). If any modules are missing, make the necessary corrections in Dayforce Services Automation and then return to this page. Before continuing, select all of the necessary modules for this phase. Continuing with an incomplete phase configuration might result in missing Test Cases/Scenarios and functionality in Activate.

  1. Complete the fields on the page.

For information on each field, see the Questions section (below).
