Org Unit Addresses

Use the Org Unit Addresses wizard to mass update the addresses for existing Sites and On-Site Departments in the Org Structure. This wizard reduces the manual effort of updating the site addresses after rebuilding the Org Structure through the Organizational Hierarchy wizard.

Prerequisites

Before starting, you must confirm the following:

  • The org units already exist in the system.
  • The impact on payroll by updating the Org Unit address.
  • All Org Units have unique names.

The new address information for the existing sites and site departments are now available in Dayforce.

Activate installs the Org Unit Addresses report in the Configuration Audits folder, if it wasn’t installed during Getting Started. Use this report to review the org unit address information.

Org Unit Addresses template fields

All templates have the same basic structure:

  • Instructions tab: Helps you understand the purpose of the data and complete the fields in the template.
  • Data tab: Contains headers for the data to be included in the template. The headers remain the same, but you can change the column order. If you add more columns, Activate ignores them.

All number ranges in the templates include the numbers at both ends of the range.
