Logging In to Activate

Important: You must use your Dayforce environment user name and password to log in to Activate. The user that you log in with must be assigned to a role that has the Activate feature enabled in Dayforce.

Important: For System Integrators: The Activate feature is enabled for the Client Admin role by default.

(For System Administrators) To log in to Activate for the first time:

  1. In your browser, enter https://activate.dayforcehcm.com.
  2. Select the environment that you want to use Activate for from the following:
    • Stage - This environment is the default.
    • Config.
    • Train.

    The name of the environment that you selected shows at the top of each page in Activate so you know which environment that Activate is installing the changes to.

    For example, when you log in to the Stage environment, Activate shows the Stage site in a yellow header across the page.

  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Company name - You must specify the exact namespace used for the environment you selected.

      • Note: Use the exact namespace in the Company field that matches the namespace used for the environment selected. Append the name of the environment to the value that you enter. For example, enter acmestage, acmeconfig, and acmetrain, depending on which environment you’re using Activate for.

    • User name.
    • Password.
  4. Click Login.
  5. Click Get Started.

To log in to Activate:

In your browser, enter https://activate.dayforcehcm.com.

  1. Select the environment that you want to use Activate for.
    • Stage - This environment is the default.

    • Train

  2. Complete the following fields:
    • Company name

      Note: Use the exact namespace in the Company field that matches the namespace used for the environment selected. Append the name of the environment to the value that you enter. For example, enter acmestage, acmeconfig, and acmetrain, depending on which environment you’re using Activate for.

    • User name
    • Password
  3. Click Login.

To log out of Activate:

  • In the Profile menu (), click Logout. The Activate Log In page opens.
