Note: If you selected Ascender HCM on the Activate Setup page, the Employee Data - Extract Data from Ascender page shows.
Use this page to extract legacy data directly from an existing Ascender HCM database and migrate it directly into the Getting Started process of Activate. You can use this legacy data to build the Dayforce instance. The Dayforce instance provides all of the information that you need to complete the Getting Started wizard.
Activate validates that an Ascender tenant key has been entered for the customer and then extracts data for the following template names:
- Employee Data
- Employee Address Data
- Organizational Site Data
- Legal Entity Data
Important: This page is available only to Ascender HCM migration projects. One of the following Ascender HCM options must have been selected in Activate Central for the Ascender Migration Type question:
- Ascender HCM
- Ascender HCM + Preceda
- Ascender HCM + Ascender Pay
Before you begin
The tenant key must be provided to Activate Support before this feature is visible to Dayforce and SI users. This unique identifier enables Activate to extract data from the customer's Ascender database.
Important: The tenant key must be provided to Activate Dayforce Support for this feature to be visible to Dayforce and SI users. Only an Activate Support representative can enter the tenant key. You’ll need to create a ticket to have it entered.
