Download Template Files

Use the Loaded Files & Template Files page to download the last version of any template file that you previously uploaded in any Activate wizard by downloading a group of templates or by downloading individual templates. You can also download an empty template to access any template file without any previously loaded data.

Note: The Activate release version shows in cell B3 on the Instructions tab of the template. This information helps you later determine the version of Activate you were using when you downloaded the template.

Available templates

Tasks

To download all template files:
  1. On any page in Activate, click the Profile menu ().
  2. Click Download Template Files. The Loaded Files & Template Files page opens.
  3. Click Download All Template Files. Activate downloads the DF Activate ExcelTemplaeFiles.zip to your computer.
  4. Save the file to the desired location.
  5. Open the file.
  6. Update the template as needed.
  7. Save the updated template on your computer.
To download a specific template file:
  1. On any page in Activate, click the Profile menu ().
  2. Click Download Template Files. The Loaded Files & Template Files page opens.
  3. In the category containing the template you want to download, click Download.

    Activate downloads the template to your computer.

    Note: If you’re downloading multiple templates, they’re downloaded in a zip file.

  4. Save the file to the appropriate location.

  5. Open the file.
  6. Update the template as needed.
  7. Save the updated template on your computer.
