Overview of the Build Dayforce Wizards

After you use the Getting Started wizard to upload the initial set of the employee data into Dayforce, Activate loads the data into Dayforce. It then configures the foundational elements in a new Dayforce environment.

You can then use the Build Dayforce wizards to build the key components and configure the new environment to align better with the organization's needs.

Before you begin

You must have completed the steps in the Getting Started wizard.

Tasks

To access the Build Dayforce wizards
  1. In your browser, enter https://activate.dayforcehcm.com.
  2. Complete the following fields:
    • Company name
    • User name
    • Password
  3. Click Login.

  4. In the Profile menu (), click Quit Progress & Go Back to Central and the Activate Central page opens with a flashing blue icon () next to the Build Dayforce wizard to indicate that this task is the current task.

  5. Click Build Dayforce and the Build Dayforce wizards show.

    The Getting Started task shows in green text with a green icon next to it to indicate that the task has been finished. The steps you completed in the Getting Started wizard supplied the information for this step.

    Note: Above each completed wizard in Activate Central, the completed day, date, and time the step was completed shows, along with the name of the user who completed the wizard.

  6. Select the wizard that you want to complete.
