Updated Block 15B and 15C in the ROE forms generated in Dayforce. The maximum amount allowed in these blocks is increased from $999,999.99 to $9,999,999.99.

PUB-13019

Added a feature that changes how Block 12 Final Pay Period Ending Date is filled in the ROE forms in Dayforce.

The new feature is active only when a new payroll client property in System Admin > Client Properties is selected. The client property Set ROE Block 12 date to the last day of the pay period that includes the date in Block 11 is turned off by default.

Information is now entered in Block 12 in the following ways:

  • In previous versions, Block 12 showed the end date of the most recent pay period. When the client property is turned off, the ROE form will continue to show the end date of the most recent pay period.
  • When the client property is turned on, the end date shown in Block 12 belongs to the pay period associated with Block 11 Last Day For Which Paid.

Important: Block 15C includes only insurable earnings up to the date in Block 12. When the client property is turned on and the date in Block 12 is earlier than the end date of the most recent pay period, earnings in later pay periods aren’t automatically included in Block 15C.

PUB-13035

Updated the Payroll Post Termination Job in System Admin > Background Jobs. You can now run the background job to generate ROE forms automatically for Canadian employees who left their position and have an inactive employment status in their HR profile in People.

To set up Dayforce to generate ROE forms for inactive employees using the background job, you need to configure the following settings:

  • In HR Admin > Employment Status Reason, configure the reason for issuing the ROE as a leave reason. In this screen, when you select the Leave Reason checkbox, you can now map an ROE reason code by selecting an option in the ROE Reason field.
  • In the job's run settings, select one or more employment statuses in the Include Inactive Employment Statuses (Canada - ROE Only) drop-down list. Only statuses that are set up as an inactive status type are shown. The drop-down list is a new addition of this update.
