Updated the banner text shown at the top of a letter so that it addresses the logged-in user. Previously, if you accessed a letter that was sent to a recipient other than yourself, the banner referred to that recipient as “you”. This text could cause confusion over who should take action on the letter. Now, the banner text shows the name of the recipient. For example, if you’re reading a letter sent to John Smith that expired, the status text now says, “The letter expired on [date] and John Smith can no longer respond to it”. Previously, the text said, "The letter expired on [date] and you can no longer respond to it”. Recruiting letters with the CC option include banner text that only the CC recipients can see. For example, "This letter has been sent to John Smith and you’re a CC recipient". The updated banners are shown for letters in the following locations:
