Added the ability to track continuing professional development activity for learners in Dayforce Learning. Continuing professional development (CPD) can include learning inside or outside of Dayforce and might be required for certain professions or industries. Learners can earn CPD credit automatically by completing courses, events, or learning plans in Dayforce Learning. They can also manually track activities that they’ve completed outside of Dayforce, such as listening to a podcast, reading a professional journal, networking, or mentoring. Administrators can configure acceptable activity types and guidelines to make sure that learners are meeting the learning expectations for the organization. For more information, see the following topics in the Dayforce Learning Guide: As part of this update, the Certificates tab in Dayforce Learning was renamed Learning activities, and learners now track both certification and CPD activity in this tab. For more information about managing certifications in the updated tab, see Manage Your Certifications in Dayforce Learning in the Dayforce Learning Guide. | |
Added the ability to provide employees with skills-based learning recommendations in Dayforce Learning. To support this update, the Add skills button was added to the course and learning plan detail screens in the Admin tab of Dayforce Learning. You can use this button to add one or more skills to courses or learning plans to help improve recommendations and help learners find content that’s relevant to their learning goals. When you click Add skills, Dayforce Learning looks for suggestions based on the course or learning plan details. You can add all or some of the suggested skills, or search for and add any other skills, as needed. See Add Skills to Learning Content in the Dayforce Learning Guide. As part of this update, the Based on your skills section was also added to the Settings > Homepage screen in the Admin tab. This section adds course and learning plan recommendations to the Dashboard tab, based on the skills in the learner's Dayforce profile. Depending on the availability of learning items, learners might see sections with recommendations for one skill, a section with recommendations for multiple skills, or both. See Customize the Learner Dashboard in the Dayforce Learning Guide. The following additional changes were made to support the use of skills in Dayforce Learning:
