Updated the behavior of the Delegation Reason drop-down list, used when employees delegate their access to other employees. The Delegation Reason drop-down list contains reasons configured in HR Admin > Employment Status Reason and is available in the following areas of Dayforce:
Employment status reasons can be restricted based on a user’s pay group country. For example, the Shared Parental Leave employment status reason is restricted to users belonging to UK pay groups. Previously, the Delegation Reason drop-down list showed employment status reasons that were restricted by country to users who didn’t belong to any of that country’s pay groups. Now, users can’t view reasons in the Delegation Access drop-down list that are restricted to a specific country unless the user belongs to a pay group for that country. For example, a user belonging to a US pay group can’t view or select “Shared Parental Leave” as a delegation reason because it’s restricted to the United Kingdom (in HR Admin > Employment Status Reason). | |
Updated how Dayforce Enhanced Employee Gender functionality behaves when an employee’s original hire date is changed manually, and effective dating isn’t enabled. Now, when an employee’s original hire date changes, and enhanced gender effective dating is off, all of the employee’s enhanced gender records are also updated to match the new value of the original hire date. For more information about enhanced gender effective dating, see Enable Enhanced Employee Gender in the Enhanced Employee Gender Guide. |
