Recruiting now provides gender and gender identity options on a geographic basis. These options are available for candidate hire forms, mass hire forms, and pre-hire questionnaires. They are located in the new Gender section that provides the applicable options depending on country, and state or province. The options available in this section depend on the configuration for the selected countries in HR Admin > Employee Gender Admin > Gender. No additional configuration is required in Recruiting. Jurisdictional requirements are enforced. For example, when candidates from the USA or Canada fill out their pre-hire questionnaire, the system might require them to add two records in the Gender section: one for their federal jurisdiction, and another for their state/provincial jurisdiction if it's configured. This requirement conforms to the behavior of Hire forms, where Dayforce automatically creates a federal record for the employee for federal reporting and payroll purposes.
