Released a new version of the self-service clock in Work > Time Clock that provides an improved and refreshed user experience:

Role feature access: Work > Time Clock > Use Everest Theme

The following list outlines some of the changes to the user experience:

  • The clock shows scheduled employees details about their upcoming shift, including when it starts, and if it’s too early or late to clock in.
  • The clock updates dynamically and shows a different clock function in the home screen based on the employee’s status. For example, if an employee hasn’t clocked in to start their shift, the clock shows the Start Shift button. After the employee starts their shift, the clock shows a different clock function, such as Start Meal or End Shift. Employees can click the View all clock functions button to view every available clock function.
  • After employees perform a clock entry, the clock updates their status and marks their clock entry time in the upper right section of the home screen.

This new version of the self-service clock isn’t enabled by default. To enable this new user experience in Work > Time Clock, you must assign access to the Work > Time Clock > Use Everest Theme role feature in System Admin > Roles in the Features tab.

See the following topics:

  • Appendix: Role Feature Library in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
