Added the ability to automatically view attachments that are linked to time away requests without the need for manual database updates. Previously, the attachments in time away requests weren't visible until the database was manually updated. Now, managers and employees can view them in Approvals or Message Center after an employee submits a time away request. | |
Updated partial time away from work functionality in Dayforce. New Calculation Methods Added the ability for Dayforce to calculate partial TAFW using work pattern and work contract calculation methods. To support this update, in Time Away From Work > Partial TAFW Definition, the Work Contract Net Hours and Work Pattern Net Hours options were added in the Calculation Method Type drop-down list. See Add a Partial TAFW Definition in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. Support for Selected Schedules Added support for partial TAFW for employees that can submit time away only for scheduled shifts. Previously, partial TAFW functionality didn’t work if your time off policy was configured with the Only selected schedule(s) checkbox selected in Time Away From Work > Time Off Policy. When the Only selected schedule(s) setting is enabled, Dayforce requires employees to submit time away only on days that they’re scheduled. Now, if your time off policy has the Only selected schedule(s) setting enabled and is also configured with a partial TAFW definition, employees can submit partial time away requests. Employees can request time away only for the portion of the day that they’re scheduled. This requirement also applies to managers who are submitting time away requests on an employee’s behalf.
