Updated the System Admin > System Notifications feature to improve the user experience for administrators who use it to configure Dayforce system messages. The improvements make it easier for administrators to find information about notifications and their configurations.

To support this functionality, the following updates were made in System Admin > System Notifications:

  • A new Configurations tab was added. In the new tab, administrators can see all of the details about system notifications in one screen. A new role feature controls access to this new tab: System Admin > System Admin > System Notifications > Configurations.
  • A new Search field was added in the Subscriptions and Channels tabs, and is also available in the new Configurations tab. You can use it to search for notifications by name. Enter all or part of a notification and press enter to search.
  • A new Expand All button was added in all of the tabs including the new Configurations tab. Click it to expand all of the notifications in the list so that you can see all of their information at once. After you click Expand All, the button changes to Collapse All. Click Collapse All to close all of the notifications.
  • The Type column was removed from the Channels tab. Previously, this column showed which notifications were enhanced, which meant that users could opt in or out of receiving them in Profile, in the Settings > Notifications tab. Now, all notifications are enhanced.
  • In the Subscriptions tab, the notification description was added under the name of the notification:
