TAL-58072

Added the ability to exclude terminated employees from succession plans in Succession > Succession Plans. To exclude these employees, make sure the new Exclude Terminated checkbox at the top of the Succession Plans screen is selected. This checkbox is selected by default. Clear it to include terminated employees in the list, as before.

TAL-60544

Added the ability to restrict whether delegates can access the Succession module, including its development plans. Previously, delegates automatically gained access to Succession, and there was no option to restrict access.

If you're a manager, you can restrict access to succession plans for your delegates:

  1. Go to Profile.
  2. Go to Settings > Preferences.
  3. Under Delegation Access, click Add to add a new delegate or the edit icon to update this access for a scheduled delegate. (If you add a new delegate, you need to select their name, delegation reason, and provide an effective period.)
  4. In the Delegation Access dialog box, go to the Restrict Private Information section and select the Succession Feature Access checkbox. This checkbox isn't selected by default, to reflect previous behavior.

If you're an administrator, you can restrict access to succession plans when delegating access:

  1. In People, go to the profile of the employee you need to delegate for.
  2. Select Security Settings from the left menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Security Access Section. In the Delegatee tab, select the delegate's name, then select the checkbox in the Restrict Succession Feature Access column. This checkbox isn't selected by default, to reflect previous behavior.
