Introducing Dayforce Learning

Dayforce Release Notes version 2025.1.0

Version
R2025.1.0

The new Dayforce Learning feature offers an improved learning experience with an intuitive user interface and a comprehensive content library.

With Dayforce Learning, users in each role can now go to a single feature in Dayforce for all of their learning needs:

  • Administrators can configure courses, events, and learning plans. They can also customize the learner experience, review the learning organization, and report on learning activity.
  • Managers can track learning activity and assign courses, events, and learning plans to their team.
  • Instructors can view and update their course sessions and manage their attendees lists.
  • Learners can search for learning opportunities, complete and track assigned learning, and review certifications.

For more information about how each role uses Dayforce Learning, see the Dayforce Learning Guide.

Mobile Experience

The new version of Dayforce Learning is available to learners on the existing Dayforce Mobile App. This app is the same one that many employees already use for things like timesheets and time away requests.

The mobile version of Dayforce Learning provides a similar experience as the platform version. For more information, see Learning in the following guides:

  • Dayforce Mobile App Guide - Android
  • Dayforce Mobile App Guide - iOS

Note: In the Dayforce Mobile App, the Learning feature is only available for customers who are using the new Dayforce Learning feature.

Existing Learning Customers

The learning experience hasn’t changed for existing customers, however, the existing version of Learning is now referred to as “Classic Learning,” and the new version is referred to as “Dayforce Learning.”

If you're interested in upgrading to the new Dayforce Learning experience, contact your Customer Success Manager or dayforcelearningupgrades@dayforce.com to express your interest in early adoption.

Documentation

Existing customers can still find the documentation for Classic Learning in the Learning Guide and the Dayforce Learning App Guide. Customers using the new Dayforce Learning can find documentation in the Dayforce Learning Guide.

On the Dayforce Help Portal, each learning topic shows either the “New Dayforce Learning” or “Classic Learning” label below the heading. This label helps clarify which version of the documentation you’re viewing:

The Classic Learning label is shown below the topic heading.

You can also see the version label when you review search results:
