Dayforce Release Notes version 2025.1.0

Version
R2025.1.0

HR-17874

Updated HR Admin > Employment Status Reason to make the Reference Code field mandatory.

Important: If you have any existing employment status reason records with empty Reference Code fields, Dayforce will prompt you to enter values for these records the next time you try to save anything in HR Admin > Employment Status Reason.

HR-32707, HR-32708, HR-34815

Added the ability to configure whether Dayforce applies data mapping rules to historical data.

To support this functionality, the Apply Data Mapping Historically checkbox was added to HR Admin > Employee Data Mapping Rules:

Cursor selecting the Apply Data Mapping Historically checkbox for data mapping rules.

Important: If you select the Apply Data Mapping Historically checkbox, Dayforce can qualify and update values from the beginning of an employee's record. Retroactive payments and changes to previously-submitted timesheet information might occur.

Selecting this checkbox applies your data mapping rules to past data (depending on the dates of new information and existing information) as well as to current and future data. Clearing this checkbox ensures that all of your data mapping rules apply only to current and future data.

See Data Mapping 2.0 Overview in the HR Administration Guide.

TAL-60583

Added the ability to search the list of existing groups in Dayforce. To support this update, a search field was added to the side panel in HR Admin > Groups. You can enter all or part of a group’s name in this field to find the group in the list.
