Added the ability to quickly cancel a background job before it is in the queue to run in System Admin > Background Jobs. Now, when you run a background job in the Available Jobs tab of System Admin > Background Jobs, a dialog box shows where you can cancel the job with a time frame of 5 or 10 seconds. This time frame is determined by the Background Job queueing delay (in seconds) client property in System Admin > Client Properties. From the drop-down list next to the client property, you can select 10 seconds, 5 seconds or 0 seconds (which queues the job immediately). You can also click Queue Now in the dialog box to immediately run the job. See Run Background Jobs in in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
Added the ability to schedule background jobs for a custom date and time. To support this functionality, the Custom option was added to the dialog box that opens when you click Schedule for a background job in System Admin > Background Jobs. Now, you can specify the exact date and time to run your background job. See Schedule Options for Background Jobs in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
Added the ability to schedule background jobs based on existing Dayforce calendars. To support this functionality, the Dayforce Calendar option was added to the dialog box that opens when you click Schedule for a background job in System Admin > Background Jobs. Now, you can select an existing Dayforce calendar from the drop-down list in the dialog box to set up your schedule options. See Schedule Options for Background Jobs in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |
