GPTCI-39892 This update allows administrators to import non-system payees for state tax levy garnishments for Minnesota and Wisconsin. Previously, only system payees categorized under Garnishment and Child Support Payment were available. Now, in the Payroll > Garnishments screen in People, non-system payees show in the Payee dropdown list. To enable the non-system payees feature, select the Suppress Wage Attachment Disbursements in Back-Office file (USA only) checkbox in System Admin > Client Properties > Properties tab, in the Payroll tab.
GPTCI-47757 Updated the W-2 forms for nonresidents who work in Wisconsin and who are residents of a state with a reciprocity agreement with Wisconsin. Box 16 in a submitted W-2 form now shows a zero value for Wisconsin state wages for these employees. In the previous versions, Box 16 was blank.

The garnishment percentage is shown in the Percent Of field in the Payroll > Garnishments screen of People, in the Order Details section of the Properties tab. The Percent Of field shows an exemption of 75% of the gross wages for all Hawaii state tax levy garnishments.
GPTCI-49501 Updated Dayforce to apply the last available primary work assignment for the historical legal entity when processing historical work assignment adjustments. Previously, the system applied a primary work assignment in case there was no effective work assignment for the historical adjustment, specifically for employer tax-only adjustments with no earnings. With this release, the system applies the last available primary work assignment for the historical legal entity to these adjustments.
GPTCI-51201, GPTCI-47646 Added a new legal entity tax parameter, Pennsylvania LST - Withhold on Primary Work Assignment Only, in the Taxation Parameters sub-tab in Org Setup > Org Payroll Setup > Legal Entity. By default, the parameter’s checkbox is not selected. When the checkbox isn’t selected, the PA Local Services Tax (LST) on secondary work assignments or projects, as well as the primary work assignments that are subject to PA LST, are withheld. Employees can submit an exemption request to their employer to exclude a specific PA LST for a jurisdiction that shows in the employee’s HR record in People, in the Payroll > Tax Definitions screen in the Employee Payroll Tax section. When the checkbox is selected, the system withholds PA LST only on primary work assignments with PA LST wages. Note: The Tax Calculation Details (TCD) report shows the status of the new Pennsylvania LST - Withhold on Primary Work Assignment Only parameter for non-federal taxes only as PA LST Primary Work Only. |
