Added the ability to restrict access to the Number of Openings field in job requisitions. This restriction can help prevent users from increasing your organization’s head count by adding more openings. To support this functionality, a new Recruiting: Job Requisition - Number Of Openings access authorization was added in System Admin > Roles, in the Authorizations tab. The new access authorization controls read and update permissions for the Number of Openings field in Recruiting > Job Requisitions and recruiting forms.

You can give users the following permissions:

Can Read: Controls whether the field is shown. With only Read permission, users see the field in read-only format. Users who don’t have Read permission can’t see the field in any job requisitions or forms.

Can Update: Controls whether the user can edit the value in the field in job requisitions and forms.

The access authorization also has checkboxes for the Can Create and Can Delete permissions, but these checkboxes don’t affect access to the field.

The new access authorization is added only for customers who use Position Management and Recruiting. User roles automatically have the same permissions for this new access authorization as the ones that they have for the existing Recruiting: Job Requisition access authorization. As a result, users who had access to update job requisitions can still update the Number Of Openings field on job requisitions. To restrict users from updating the Number Of Openings field, you need to update the new access authorization for their user roles.
