Previously, you could use the Non-Work Staffing Rule to define the minimum and maximum number of employees that can be scheduled at a certain time of the day only at the zone level. Now, you can use the same rule to define the minimum and maximum staffing demand at the store level.
To support this functionality, the following updates were made:
- In Plan Setup > Labor Deployment, in the General section of the labor deployment slide-out panel, in the Zone drop-down list, the **Store Level** option was renamed **Site Level**.
- The Prevent Generation of Demand Outside of Operating Hours checkbox was added to the Non-Work Staffing Rule.
- The mandatory Severity setting was added to the Non-Work Staffing Rule. You can set the severity level to Informational, Warning, Error, or Critical. Previously, you couldn’t configure severity for the rule and it automatically generated only error-level violations, which didn't prevent users from saving and posting schedules. Now, you can set different severity levels to apply different actions for violations. To learn more about severity levels and their applications, see Non-Work Staffing Rule in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
- In Schedules in the Problems panel, the Staffing tab now shows zone-level and site-level violations.
- In Schedules in the Bar View and Split View, the Select Coverage Display menu was updated to show minimum and maximum labor demand curves at the site level. Labor demand curves for the site level show shifts contributing from all zones to site-level coverage.
