HR-20505, HR-20618, HR-20636, HR-20799 Added the ability to assign a second employee to occupy a position whose current occupant has an expected vacancy date. You can use this new functionality when an employee has resigned and their replacement starts before they leave. It allows for a transition period for training and knowledge transfer. When overfill is supported for a position, you can assign a second employee to an occupied position as long as the position doesn't have a future occupant. Note: This new feature is available only in the new user interface, which is enabled using the Enable New Organization Designer UI client property. To support this functionality, a new Support Overfill switch was added in the Occupants tab of the position panel: The switch is available only when a date is entered in the Expected Vacancy Date field, and the date is the same as or later than the date selected in Organization Designer. As part of this update, the Position drop-down list in forms was updated so that it shows positions when they have an open space due to overfill. | |
