BEN-9435 Added the ability to configure Dayforce to determine benefits eligibility based on the country associated with an employee’s pay group instead of their primary address. To support this functionality, the Use Pay Group Country for Benefit Country Eligibility checkbox was added in the Benefits section of System Admin > Client Properties. When you select this checkbox, Dayforce uses the country linked to the employee’s pay group. When you clear the checkbox, Dayforce defaults to the country associated with the employee’s primary address. The employee's benefit country uses the existing eligibility criteria for plans, options, rates, and enrollments to determine if the employee qualifies. Example: An employee with a pay group country of the United States and a primary address country of France begins the benefits enrollment process. When the Use Pay Group Country for Benefit Country Eligibility checkbox is selected, Dayforce evaluates the employee’s eligibility based on the United States as the benefit country. As a result, the employee qualifies for benefit options available in the United States. |
