Updated Dayforce to comply with requirements for tax identification numbers (TINs) in Germany. Previously, when you added a TIN in Dayforce, the effective date of the TIN defaulted to today’s date. Now, the effective date defaults to the first day of the month, as expected.

The following areas were updated for employees in German pay groups:

  • The Identification section of the Personal > Confidential Information screen in People.
  • HR Import
  • RESTful Web Services API
  • XML framework
  • The following system forms:
    • New Hire
    • New Hire (Position Management)
    • New Hire with Contract
    • New Hire with Contract (Position Management)
    • Rehire
    • Rehire (Position Management)
    • Rehire with Contract
    • Rehire with Contract (Position Management)

If you edit the effective date that is added by default (so that it is not the first day of the month), Dayforce shows a warning message.

GL-11057, GL-11058, GL-11059, GL-11227

Added the ability to specify a due date when adding a Pregnancy Work Ban leave to Dayforce for employees in German pay groups. To support this functionality, the Due Date field is now available in the following locations in Dayforce:

  • In the Leave Management screen of People when you select Pregnancy Work Ban in the Reason drop-down list for an employee’s leave.
  • In the Request Leave of Absence form when you select Pregnancy Work Ban in the Reason drop-down list.

Also, the DEUPregnancyWorkBanDueDate field was added to the API.

For more information about pregnancy work ban leave, see Pregnancy Work Ban Leave (Germany) in the HR Administration Guide.
