Dayforce Release Notes version 2024.2.1

Version
R2024.2.1

BEN-9189

Added the ability to define an employee’s eligibility to enroll in a plan option based on the percentage of the year’s maximum pensionable earnings (YMPE) earned. To support this functionality, the following were added in Benefits Setup > Eligibility for the Payroll / Work Eligibility Qualifier:

  • The Portion of YMPE option was added to the Eligibility Based On drop-down list. When this option is selected, you must enter values in the following fields:
    • Time Span Unit
    • Calculation Unit
    • Minimum
    • Maximum
  • The Specify Minimum and Maximum values as Percentages checkbox was added. When this checkbox is selected, Dayforce shows the Minimum % and Maximum % fields to enter percentage values. When this checkbox is cleared, Dayforce shows the Minimum and Maximum fields to enter decimal values.

If the minimum YMPE is less than or equal to the employee’s pensionable earnings, and the pensionable earnings are less than or equal to the maximum YMPE, the employee is eligible to enroll in the plan option. Otherwise, the employee is ineligible.

See Payroll / Work Eligibility Qualifier in the Benefits Administration Guide.
