Added functionality that supports the new Electronic Year-End Form Delivery for Terminated Employees checkbox in the Payroll section of the Properties tab in System Admin > Client Properties. When an employer selects this checkbox and clicks Save, the system requires the employer to confirm the following agreement:

Agreement when selecting the Electronic Year-End Form Delivery for Terminated Employees checkbox

Important: With the confirmation of this agreement, the system allows terminated employees to elect for electronic year-end form delivery.

Employers can clear the Electronic Year-End Form Delivery for Terminated Employees checkbox at a later date if it is no longer required. When an employer clears this checkbox and clicks Save, employers must confirm the following agreement:

Clearing the Electronic Year-End Form Delivery for Terminated Employees checkbox

Important: With the confirmation of this agreement, all prior agreements will be removed and it is then important to communicate to all employments to re-consent for an electronic W-2. This applies to all current employees (including active employees) who previously consented to electronic delivery of their W-2, it is now reset to paper W-2 only.

GPTCI-33597

Updated Dayforce to show an error message for a new or existing New Jersey employee with private plan wages and no New Jersey PPN (Private Plan Number) in the system. With this release, the system shows the following message:

Updated the Georgia State Tax Definition by inactivating the Personal Exemption field in the Payroll > Tax Definitions screen in People, in the State Tax Info section to read-only. The Georgia state personal exemption is no longer used in the withholding calculation.

As of January 1, 2024, the state of Georgia eliminated personal exemptions (as well as additional exemptions) and the value of those exemptions were changed to 0.00 for the updated Georgia W-4 Form. This results in Maximum Regular Exemptions no longer being enforced and Dayforce only using Additional Exemptions in the withholding calculation along with Dependent Exemptions.
