Added options in Centralized Schedules that dictate how Dayforce treats imported ProtoSchedule shifts that clash with an approved time away from work (TAFW) period. Now, when you use the Generate > Import from ProtoSchedule function, the Options screen in the import wizard contains new options that affect how the TAFW and shift impact the schedule. You can avoid scenarios where the shift and TAFW overlap by either generating an unfilled shift or dropping the imported shift, or you can import the shift and have it overlap with the TAFW. You can select only one option:
See Import from ProtoSchedule in the Manager Guide. |

Added the ability to view daily hour totals for unfilled shifts in Centralized Schedules. To support this functionality, the Display Unfilled Hours in Total checkbox was added in the Options panel, under General Options. When you select this checkbox, Dayforce adds unfilled shift hours in brackets next to the daily totals, which are shown in bold:

Updated mass edit functionality in Centralized Schedules so that users can configure additional shift attributes when mass-adding unfilled shifts. Previously, you couldn’t add attributes such as projects, dockets, and labor metrics to unfilled shifts in the Mass Edit wizard. To create unfilled shifts with these attributes, you had to add them one at a time in the schedules grid. Now, the Mass Edit wizard supports these additional shift attributes when you select Add Unfilled Shift to mass add unfilled shifts. See Mass Edit Shifts in the Manager Guide. |

Updated the Mass Publish function in Schedules to support shift bidding templates. Now, if your instance of Dayforce is configured with an active shift bidding template in Schedule Setup > Shift Marketplace Template and you click Mass Publish to post unfilled shifts, a new Mass Publish wizard opens:
In this wizard, you can select which unfilled shifts you want to mass publish and whether to include them in a shift bidding session. Dayforce derives the bidding session details from your shift bidding template in Schedule Setup > Shift Marketplace Template. To override the bidding session’s default configuration, in the Group Windows screen, click the Override switch and update the session’s details. In addition to requiring active shift bidding templates for this functionality to work, users also require role access to the following features:
See Mass Publish Unfilled Shifts for Bidding Sessions in the Manager Guide. |

Added the ability to control access to schedule functions with more granularity. Now, in System Admin > Roles in the Authorizations tab, the Schedule Data access authorization supports additional sub-authorizations that restrict access to specific functions in Centralized Schedules and Schedules. In the list of access authorizations, click the parameters configuration icon (
In this dialog box, you can configure whether Dayforce hides or disables certain schedule functions for the selected role. Note: Some sub-authorization functions can’t be hidden. See Schedule Data in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |

Updated the Zone filter in Schedules to show data based on the zone and shift criteria. Before this update, the Zone filter showed all employees tied to the zone whether they had a shift in the schedule or not. Now the Zone filter shows employees based on the selected zone and only if they have a shift in the schedule. |
