Updated session security by adding a maximum session duration. Now, Dayforce terminates your session after a maximum activity period of 12 hours. A Session Timeout warning message opens 10 minutes before the maximum time, giving you a 10 minute window to complete your tasks before the session terminates without the option for extension. Following this window, Dayforce shows another message indicating that your session has expired, at which point you can log in again to start a new session.

PCI-7775

Now, if your account is accessed from a previously unknown IP address, Dayforce sends you a notification containing the specific IP address that accessed your account. You are encouraged to promptly change your password and notify your administrator if you don't recognize the address.

Notifications are sent based on your allowed notification channels within your notification preferences. Options include receiving notifications via the message center, email, and SMS.
