Improved Candidate Experience
The Improved Candidate Experience was introduced in Release 2023.2.1 Patch 2 on December 6, 2023. Optionally releasing to a small group of initial customers has allowed us to gather real-time feedback around performance and stability. We have implemented several bug fixes and enhancements to provide an improved, stable experience for our customers and their candidates.
The Improved Candidate Experience includes the following enhancements this release:
- This feature is now available worldwide. Previously it was only available in the United States and Canada.
- QR codes are now available for candidates to scan and recruiters to download (see NCP-305).
- Candidates can view details for the jobs they applied for (see NCP-106).
- Candidates can now complete embedded assessments when applying to jobs.
For some locations, this feature is now or will soon be the default experience for pre-production environments. This default is being rolled out for different locations at different times.
For production environments, the previous candidate experience remains the default for now, but is planned to be phased out in a future release. For these environments, you can enable the new candidate experience from the New Career Experience for Candidates property in Recruiting Setup > Client Properties.

Candidates in the Improved Candidate Experience can now see the details of the job applications they submitted for a job. From the Jobs Applied For tab, they can use the new View Application link to see a read-only version of their application. Note: The candidate can't access third-party candidate assessments that were embedded in the job application. This feature is not enabled by default. To enable it, select the Allow candidates to see details for applied jobs checkbox in Recruiting Setup > Client Career Site Management. This checkbox appears below the Additional Features list when the list includes “Jobs Applied For.” |
