Added the ability to test your Dayforce TAFW calendar integration with Microsoft Outlook. To support this update, the Test Integration button was added in Time Away From Work > TAFW - Calendar Integration. When a user clicks the Test Integration button, Dayforce makes a call to the Microsoft Graph API service in the Azure Active Directory. This call determines whether their integration between Dayforce and the Azure Active Directory is valid. This test function can help when troubleshooting whether an issue with the integration is related to communication, authentication, or other issues. For more information, see “Configure Time Away Integration with Microsoft Outlook” in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |

Updated Dayforce to show accurate time away request durations in manager notifications in Message Center. Now, when a manager receives a time away notification for a request that includes a public holiday and involves swapped pay codes, the notification shows the request’s duration accurately. Previously, in this scenario, the notification didn’t show the time away request’s duration or, in some cases, showed an inaccurate duration. This update applies for organizations with a time off policy that’s configured with pay code swapping functionality. Additionally, this applies only to time off policies where the Separate Public Holiday Pay Code Swap Hours in Time Requested checkbox is selected in Time Away From Work > Time Off Policy. For more information, see “Configure Pay Code Swapping” in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |

Added the ability to automatically update the employment status of an employee based on the reason and duration of their time away request. For example, this feature can be used to update the employment status from active to inactive when an employee takes a long-term leave such as a maternity leave. To support this update, the following fields were added to Time Away From Work > TAFW Process Overrides:
Note: For these settings to be available, the Employee Status Automation sub-feature needs to be enabled in the Time Away From Work > TAFW Process Overrides section in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles. When this feature is configured and an employee's time away request meets the criteria configured for a long-term leave, Dayforce automatically updates their status to inactive for the duration of their time away and changes it back to active after they return. For more information, see the following in the Dayforce Implementation Guide:

Added the ability to configure the criteria that makes an employee eligible for a maternity leave. To support this update, the following rules were added in Time Away From Work > Time Off Rule Policy:
The Balance Expiry from Youngest Dependent Date of Birth Rule restricts users from submitting a time away request for an extended maternity leave after a specified expiry date. The Continuous Time Away Validation Rule restricts users from submitting a time away request for a continuous maternity leave that exceeds the configured duration. For more information, see “Balance Expiry from Youngest Dependent Date of Birth Rule” and “Continuous Time Away Validation Rule” in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |
